Machu Picchu Tour from Lima

Mt Picchu representative will pick you up from your hotel in Lima and transfer you to Jorge Chávez International Airport, according to the district where your hotel is located. The transfer will pick you up 2 hours or more before the flight departure.

During the flight, observe the Andean mountains and the landscapes from the small window. Once you arrive in Cusco, our driver and Mt Picchu representative will be waiting at the airport with your name sign and will meet you. You will have a quick briefing about your trip and then continue the Machu Picchu tour from Lima.

We transfer you to Ollantaytambo train station, where you board the tourist train to Machu Picchu. This Machu Picchu tour includes the tourist train service (Expedition or Voyager train). You will enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and river during the journey to Aguas Calientes.

You arrive in Aguas Calientes in the late afternoon. We transfer you to your hotel. You have free time to walk around the town, visit the local markets, eat at restaurants, and rest for the next day. In the evening, our tour guide will visit your hotel for a final briefing and coordination for the next day.

According to the Machu Picchu scheduled entry times for your tickets, our guide will coordinate the time to pick you up and transfer to the bus station.

Once there, you will take a tourist bus up to Machu Picchu. Once at the checkpoint, you will present your original passport and Machu Picchu tickets, check them, and enter the Inca citadel.

If you booked Circuit 1 or 2: You will enter through the main entrance of Machu Picchu. Walk approximately 5 minutes and arrive at the second control point, where you will verify your assigned circuit and enter. Circuit 1 only allows you to view a panoramic view and then return to the control point. Circuit 2 permits exploration of the entire Inca citadel.

If you booked Circuit 3: You will enter through the second door, which is located below the control point. Enter the circuit and walk down to the Inca terrace, then explore the Inca citadel.

Each Machu Picchu circuit has its own special features to explore, and we recommend you make the most of your time and take photos, as all circuits only allow one visit with no return.

Your tour guide will accompany you during the exploration of Machu Picchu according to your circuit. Our guide at Machu Picchu is an expert with extensive experience to provide you with the best information about the Machu Picchu circuit. You will have a guided tour with a professional tour guide who speaks English and your language. The guide shows you all the important places according to your booked circuit.

After the Machu Picchu tour, exit the citadel and take the shuttle bus back down to Aguas Calientes, where you have lunch (not included). You can choose a restaurant of your choice. In the afternoon, you take the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, we transfer you to Cusco airport. You fly back to Lima. When you arrive in Lima, we pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
